7/19 Minor League Summary

Today is my birthday so if I do a disappearing act the next few days you'll know since I am now legally allowed to drink.

Syracuse 10, Rochester 7
The Chiefs' bats were hot tonight and got a total of 15 hits. Adam Lind was the star of the show going 4 for 4 including a double and a triple. So close to the cycle but he easily gets the JotG. Lydon, Hattig, and Olmedo each added two hits each. Thigpen and Adams both went 1 for 5.

New Hampshire vs Connecticut - Postponed!

Clear water 3, Dunedin 0
The DJays' bats could only muster 3 hits off Phillies' Prospect Drew Carpenter. He also struck out 10.

Lansing 9, Burlington 2
Graham Godfrey started for the Lugnuts and scattered 10 hits over 8 innings while striking out 7 and giving up 2 runs. He shares the JotG with Torontonian Chris Emanuele who was 2 for 4 with a triple and 4 RBI. Snider was 1-3 with a walk and 2 runs scored.

Vermont 3, Auburn 1
Adrian Alaniz mowed down the DDays bats going 6 IP with 8 strike outs. Ben Zeskind and Victor Santana did have two hits a piece to share the JotG.

GCL Jays 6, GCL Indians 5
