Here comes the return of The Rocket. This game seems like a must win as well as we desperately need to catch ground on the Yankees and for the wild card race. In order to take the series we need this one so hopefully Sparrow can come up big.

Here's The Sparrow

A nice reliant automobile

Glaus's slump continues
and erases Frank's single.

A couple of weird high pitched from Sparrow
Not sure what's going on there. Signs confused?

The fundamentally sound 1-5-3

Johnson dives for a double
and isn't even remotely close. Sparrow hurt himself by going to 3-0 before getting back to 3-2 and then giving up the triple to Abreu. Getting the lead runner on that double play didn't end up mattering.

Sparrow plunks A-Rod
Considering Litsch went behind A-Rod's back yesterday it would be weird if this was intentional, but the benches and bullpens have been cleared.

To be honset,
it was pretty pathetic by the Jays.  They had 4 games at Yankee stadium to retaliate and did nothing.  The issue happened over 2 months ago and they already had an opportunity to retaliate.

Yeah
find it funny that it's even an issue too. Though A-rod deserves it.

And then they clear again.

Looked like Towers was jawing at A-Rod at first

Towers giving back that good will
by giving Posada a 2 run double.

I thought the Jays would score 2 off the yanks
and it would be up to Sparrow to keep the score low if he wanted to win. I was giving the Jays too much credit. They certainly don't look prepared to win, for all the energy they showed keeping A-Rod and Sparrow apart.

That's twice we've thrown out Posada
stretching a single into a double.

I was right about the bullpen
allowing Sparrow's inherited runners to score.

We finally get our third baserunner
I was apparently being optimistic when I estimated we'd strand 9.

We managed to strand a second

Another baserunner
on a plunking of Rios that gets Clemens tossed.

Frank doubles
Well, we got the 2 runs I was predicting.

Damn
is anyone deserving of the JotG?

Nobody deserves JotG in a loss
Especially a blowout like this.
