Bye Ottawa Lynx!

The last of the Canadian minor league teams above A ball is now gone. While not official it's a foregone conclusion.

It's sad that the Blue Jays are the only Canadian team and how else is baseball in Canada supposed to grow?

Since we move our A affiliate around so much

maybe we should move it to Ottawa. Being a Jays farm team might be a better draw in Ottawa than Phillies or Orioles were. What other Corvids are there we could name it?

not the Ravens, I hope.

Maybe the Storm Crows? And the Ottawa Magpies or Ottawa Jackdaws have nice rings to it. There is even a corvid called the Azure-winged Magpie

I remember my brother and I looking at the back of Jimmy Key's baseball card (our favorite player at the time, still one of my all-time favorites), seeing that he once played somewhere called Medicine Hat, and wondering where the heck that was and what kind of name it was. It's gotta be a poorly translated native word, no?
