good trade for the Mets

they didn’t give up much, and got the best player involved in the deal. Their farm system will be even further depleted, but I don’t really see big things for the guys that they gave up. Minaya certainly addressed the bullpen quickly and definitively – it must be nice to have money. sigh.

Worst trade!!!

I acquired Putz in a fantasy league last year banking on him returning to being a solid closer…set up men SUCK! HAHA…though for the Mets this helps them a great deal, lose Heilman who didn’t want to be there and get a great set up man/closer insurance for a bullpen that was awful the last 2 years.
