I am glad it wasn't the Jays, though it is just a one year deal and no dollar amounts are announced. I wouldn't think he could get much more than a million and for one year at that amount it could be worth the risk. 

Nationals general manager Jim Bowden was not available for comment and Mike Gazda, the director of media relations for Washington, said the team has nothing to announce at this time.

It does sound like one of those things that there should be an anonymous call to a radio station with someone claiming responsibility like any other bombing.

Cabrera, 27, was 8-10 with a 5.25 ERA for the Orioles this past season. Known for his fastball, curveball and changeup,

But mostly known for not having any idea where the strike zone is......
