The Lightning & 0-3

I know Spring Training doesn't matter, but the Jays opening up ST with three staright losses, two at the hands of the Tigers, and one to the Rays, is not good. The only bright spot for all of you Janssen fans out there is that he is looking really good, while Litsch isn't look so great.

I went to the Leafs game last night. Great game, with the Lightning winning in OT because of Dan Boyle's goal. I know I'm down in Florida for Baseball but I can't help but go and see some hockey games. I've been to three games as of last night.

Playing the Reds tomorrow at Knology Park. If anyone from Bluebird Banter is going to be there, let me know and I'll try and hook up with you.

He's one of those guys who depends on his off speed stuff being sharp and down. The GB/FB ratio should come down. Give him 2 or 3 weeks and if he's still letting the flys go, then we should be concerned.

Litch didn't throw any offspeed stuff.

He said it was fastball, fastball, fastball, primarily working on location.

the hatchling

was a little young to make the trip down this year, but we're planning on making a family trip down to spring training next season, I can't wait.

Hockey is always a great thing to go see whenever you're in town, since its so much better live than on tv. I wonder what the atmosphere down in florida is like for games though, none of my friends from the south are hockey fans at all.
