The Jays added some depth to the pitching roster today adding Armando Benitez on a minor league deal. Benitez known most of his career as a closer with heat, has accepted a minor league offer from the Jays on Tuesday. Benitez has a great fastball but has run into control problems in the past. He has saved 40 games 3 times in his career. My feeling is this is a pretty good pickup, if things work out he could really provide some depth in the bullpen. Any thoughts?
