Vernon Wells Gone for 4 to 6 Weeks

Vernon has a strained hamsting....damn, this is starting to get sad. Marcum, McGowan and now Vernon. I guess if it was celebratee deaths we'd be done with three. I hope we are done. Haven't said who they will call up, likely Mench I suppose. I guess too much to hope that they reach down to AA and pick Travis Snider. Is too bad, Vernon looked like he was finding his stroke.

Kevin Mench is the one called up.
I was hopeful that Travis Snider would get a look. We tried Wilk and Mench earlier in the season and they were terrible. Why not give Snider a look, can’t be too much worse and he can see what major league life is like.
