(It's a) Departure - Game Thread: Game 124, Jays at Boston Red Sox
Toronto Blue Jays @ Boston Red Sox
It's definitely been a departure (thanks to the Long Winters for the title) to see the Jays hitting home runs over the last week or so. The Jays, now 3 games over .500, also depart the Athens of America for home after today's afternoon game, which features a great pitching matchup. The Jays are 4-1 on this mini road trip with one game left to play, which is really quite good. It will be even better if they can finish strong.
Marcum v. Beckett - the Jays look to take the 2-game series against the Bo-Sox. Adam Lind continues at DH while Brad Wilkerson mans left. Wilk had a very nice catch yesterday. I'll be around for at least a good portion of the game today. Let's go Jays!

Inglett made 2 outs that inning
but saw 14 pitches. How much do you think that long leadoff at-bat helped everyone else, even if he didn’t get on?

I would guess it definitely did
the Jays got big hits on all of Beckett’s different pitches, so I’d imagine seeing them all in that first at-bat probably helped

Have you seen the Rockafire Explosion videos?
The guy who originally designed the rig for Showbiz Pizza has his own copy, and he choreographs them to songs by paid request. The version of Love in this Club is awesome, and Electric Feel is made even better by the presence of the Rockafire Explosion in the real music video for the song.
