Minnesota Twins at Toronto Blue Jays, Sep 3, 2008 7:07 PM EDT
A.J. Burnett v. Nick Blackburn tonight at the RC, and thanks to Bright Eyes for tonight's game thread title. Travis Snider is back in the lineup, batting ninth, Scoot mans shortstop and Inglett is back at second in the Jays "offense-first" lineup. I'm headed out for a run on what is another beautiful evening but will be back for the game (though I will be cooking some spicy soba noodles for the first inning or so). Let's go Jays!

he’d certainly be better than the DH production we’ve had this semester, but I still feel it’s best not to just give him the spot. I think the Jays should get a real DH, and let him play himself on the team

my guess is that with no one out
the game didn’t really hinge on what he did in that at-bat, since the Jays were very likely to win the game even if he got out? and he made a big out earlier in the game
