Game Thread for Game 139 Twins at Jays.

Minnesota Twins @ Toronto Blue Jays

We have a shot at a sweep behind Jesse Litsch (9-8, 4.01), he's had three good starts in a row after coming back from AAA. Twins have righty Kevin Slowey (11-8, 3.70) starting. Glad he's right handed so we get to see Snider again tonight.

Jay's record of 16-12 in August was there most wins in a month since August 2001, kind of sad isn't it. Ricky Romero was named International League Play for the Week and Jay's Organizational player of the Month for August. We are 6 games above .500, we've never been 7 games above this year. Go Jays.

Let the kid have his complete game shutout

considering none of Mauer, Morneau, and Kubel can be the tying run at the plate.

"Chances of winning this game about 85%"

Actually 99%, Rance. We have measurements for this kind of thing.

I mean, 85%?

that doesn’t make any sense. do you really think 15% of the time, the team winning by 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th with the bases loaded loses the game?

It's like that guy's postseason odds

Where if you added up the chances of the Tigers, White Sox, or Twins making the playoffs, it was almost a lock for either of the Indians or Royals.

Inglett almost had his second granny of the season.
