Former Jay Jayson Werth hit two homers last night and it wasn't enough. So it is 2 games to 1 for the Yankees going into tonight. The pitching matchup doesn't look good for the Phillies, but they did beat CC in game one. I bet Phillies fans wish Cliff Lee had been taken out of that game earlier so he could go on short rest too. Blanton hasn't pitched since October 19th, 13 days ago. Should be interesting.

I make a lot of stuff for friends and family. It’s a good hobby for me…keeps me out of trouble!!
I did that once as an umpire...no tag....no touching the plate....
so I didn’t make a call till the kid walked off the field…then he was out for leaving
little first baseman one time dropped the throw and then just covered with his glove..
in my head I’m yelling pick it up but his coach never did so the runner was safe
well I think I'm going to call it quits here
and head up to bed. Unfortunately have a long work day ahead of me tomorrow.

I was really pissed off when I first saw that he was going.

If we ever get organized
in the off season it would be good to have a plan for someone to do a saturday and someone to do a sunday post. or some sort of schedule
yeah would be good. would be good to have one more person writing maybe...
I find I like to write something weekday mornings but weekends unless there is news, I find it harder to get motivated.
most the time it isn't but and I have a bunch of ideas for slow days at the moment.
but now and then the blank page sits there for a long time

if ruiz had caught the ball, he’d have been out at home. and the next play was a deep fly ball to leftfield that cabrera would have scored on anyway
