How to Go From 75 to 88 Wins
Go read this. Well written piece, but mostly I'm happy to see someone else think that picking up Mike Cameron and shifting Vernon Wells to right is a good idea. We'll been banging this drum for a bit now.

Funny
Because I was actually thinking the Jays should perhaps go for Mike Cameron. Trouble is, he’s old, and we’re most likely not contenders next seasons, even if we make some good trades. Snyder would be good because he might be here for a decent amount of time, but short-term investments probably aren’t going to make the franchise better.

Big Mike Cameron fan
I’m a Mets fan though – hopefully we can pick him up when Matt Holliday inevitably signs with the Yankees. Cam is one of the more underrated players of the last decade. If he’s not a Met I’d be happy to see the Jays grab him.

I like the comment about how the seasons of Lind, Hill, Scutaro and Romero are not likely to be repeated.
I think Lind should be able to repeat and improve, same with Romero.
I am skeptical that we will see the same kind of HR production from Hill again, although I would be ecstatic.
I would not expect to see Scutaro hit so well for average but his OBP to AVG spread should continue or improve so he should still be a valuable asset.

doesn't fit the MO
I don’t think AA is going to sign an old FA and waste precious $$$ for a short term fix at a position. I think he’s more likely to trade for a Carlos Gonzalez or sign a Baldelli/Ankiel/Kearns who have more long term value.
