Another Catcher Signs....Not with the Jays
According to this Denver Post story, the Rockies are about to sign Yorvit Torrealba to a two year deal, someone that Alex Anthopoulos talked about wanting to sign. We are slowly running out of options, maybe this means we will go after Ryan Doumit?

I'm pretty happy
we’re not the ones signing Torrealbea to a 2-year deal. His numbers look superficially decent last season, but expecting a catcher over 30 who rarely hits home runs to replicate a .355 BABIP (his mark in 2009) while hitting it on the ground more than half the time isn’t a very good bet. Regress his BABIP to his career .298 mark, and his 2009 numbers look awful.

Here's hoping
Perhaps as a throw in to a Halladay deal?
Upton, Davis, Navarro, Brignac for Halladay, Downs, Accardo, Mills?
A man can dream, right?
