The plot thickens and things get more tangled as spring training continues and guys keep competing against one another to get through to the major league roster - made me think of the line from the Dylan song.

with Lane still hitting well and Wells a week away from even appearing in a game, his chances of making the team are looking up

Tangled up in Blue is one of my favorite Dylan song….or at least in the top hundred or so. Actually not sure, off the top of my head, that I have a least favorite Dylan song, likely something from his ‘born again’ days.
