Angel Sanchez

Might as well bring him up and play him for the rest of the year at SS (move Scutaro to 3B). Good time to see what you got, and maybe help make the Scutaro decision for you.

There is no Scutaro decision

There is a “Will we try to be competitive?” decision.

They're not just hitting home runs. They're doing the little things, like hitting doubles.

Maybe

But at the same time, if you don’t resign Scutaro, you still have to have SOMEONE play SS. And if Cito has any say at all in the matter, it won’t be Jonny Mac.

For totally selfish reasons, as opposed to sober considerations of what would be best for the organization, I’d like to see Tim Collins. Everyone who talks about this kid seems to have a note of amazement in their comments, and I’d be interested in taking a look at his stuff.

Woah,

such hype for Dopirak..

He's not Kevin Millar

Frankly I’m surprised Buck Coats isn’t doing better on the He’s Not Vernon Wells platform.

They're not just hitting home runs. They're doing the little things, like hitting doubles.

I say see what you have in Dopriak, because I'm

not buying what Randy Ruiz is selling, and I don’t think the organization is either

Well, none of these guys are one the 40-man.

Maybe that’s why they weren’t called up.

Accardo is on the 40-man.

Also, these guys are on the 40-man roster:

Michael Barrett
Bill Murphy
Davis Romero
Brian Wolfe
and Kevin Millar

I think we could stand to take a few of them off and let them seek their fortunes elsewhere and put a guy like Dopirak on.

BTW

What does Dopirak plays? Outfield? DH?

by Outz on Sep 3, 2009 4:47 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

Good for batting against lefty while resting Overbay…

Thanks.
