"Blue Jays fans were asked who they wanted to chat with. The most reqested player was Blue Jays first baseman and designated hitter Kevin Millar. At 2 p.m. today, fans will be able to chat with him about his career, his season with the Blue Jays and his plans for the future"
Too bad they won't let the "Why are you still playing?, Did Cito sell his soul to you?" questions thru.
I really don't have anything else that I would ask him. It'll be interesting to see the types of questions that the mod lets through.

The transcript isn't up yet.
He was only on for about half an hour. I DID ask “What are your plans for 2010?” which he answered. No mention of trying to return to the Jays, thank God!

paddlepop: Hi Kev, where do you see yourself in 2010?
Millar: Good question. I would love to still play. It has been a rough year, personally, first time being a bench player. I didn’t do a great job with my role, to be as consistent as I wish I could have been. So, I would like to go into this offseason, work on my swing and work on a way to be consistent enough for next year and make a team somewhere.

he ends up with:
“Thanks for your questions. Sorry I didn’t hit higher this year for you guys off of the bench. But, thanks for the support and the Blue Jays will be back. Catch you all later.”
How can you not feel for him?
Other highlight, he refers to Rod Barajas as Kankles cuz of his big ankles. LOL LOL
No doubt Millar is a good guy to have around
but I’d rather have him around as a coach than an everyday player.
