Joba Chamberlain
its kind of obvious he's falling off the Yank's hierarchy. But I see huge potential in the guy and i think he could be a better starter than Hughes. It could turn out like the Morrow trade.
If it does happen, we would have 6 potential starters, which could be a problem, but then we could trade one of them for a bat. (personally i'd prefer we trade Marcum)
Should we trade for him? Would it cost too much? Thoughts?

technically
by giving them Davis, we’d also give them an arm (or two)

but but but but but
would the Yanks really set the price that high? Even if it is intradivision?
Its not like the Yanks neccesarily need him. They can get FAs

I meant as part of a bullpen
which is a lot easier to fill up with FAs

the Yankees aren't like other teams
with someone like Joba, they’d rather keep him in their bullpen where he wasn’t doing much than sell him low and take the chance that he might be great for the new team and make them look bad.

I think he would cost too much because the Yankees can afford to just hold onto him in their bullpen instead of selling low.
That and Im not as high on him as you are Yunel

Meh
Joba was the most overrated prospect in recent memory. I like him on the Yankees. Everytime he pitches against us, we shell him.
That made me curious to go look up our stats against Joba

You'd rather have Joba than Marcum?
You must be Michael Kay.

mills for joba
Marcum’s better; he just wasn’t as highly touted. There’s a huge difference, especially when you come through the Yankee’s system
