CBSSports.com Fantasy Baseball Commissioner

Our corporate overlords, the folks at SB Nation, are pretty benevolent for the most part. They built this happy little playground, let us play in it and rarely do they complain about what we do around here. No more than once a day or so. Kidding, kidding. No more than every other day, and mostly about the obscure lyrics Hugo uses in post titles.....

Anyway, our corporate overlords have worked out a deal for us with CBSSports.com Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League. For a bit of advertising of their product we get a free league. And for anyone that wants to make their own league, if you do it through our site you will get 50% off their usual price. To get this price, go to their site through this link:

http://baseball.cbssports.com/splash/baseball/spln/mgmt/offer/a?ttag=fbbc10_on_all_sbnat_os_iab_0007

Soon there will be a link on the site.

So two things are going on: first, we will be running our own fantasy league here and this one is free. But, of course there are a limited number of spots in this league. I'll admit to knowing very little about fantasy baseball, but I've set up a AL only league at the moment, and there are 10 spots open on it. I guess if we get a couple more people than 10 we could make it an NL league since there are more teams in the NL. Anyway, if you would like to join our league sent me an email. My address is at the bottom of the page. I can't promise that everyone will get to be part of our league but I'll try. And if you have suggestions for how it should be run, let me know.

The other part is.....well.....we have to pimp their product some. So you will see occasional posts about it on here. Anyway the points I'm supposed to hit:

  • The SB Nation Special offer, 50% if you go to their site through the link on our page.
  • That CBSSports.com Fantasy Baseball Commissioner has won 8 of 9 Fantasy Sports Trade Association Awards for "Best Fantasy Baseball Commissioner League Management Product".
  • You can customize the league anyway you want.
  • It has live scoring and stats.
  • You can run "Keeper leagues"
  • They have a live chat feature.
  • And there is a 14-day free trial period.

Ok I'm going to go shower. While I do, read the league stuff:

don’t feel bad. They may be pimping BBB someday. That is good capitalism.

Ok I can vouch for CBS’s fantasy page. Their leagues have a lot of customizable features and they work it great.

Agreed

Used them for the first time last year, and was very impressed.

CBS

I’ve used CBS for baseball, football, and basketball fantasy leagues for years now and the site is great. Just wish we could get the 1/2 off deal for our existing league.
