Was sent back to Dunedin after 2 not-so-good starts for NH.
Also Danny Perales is doing well since being called up from Dunedin. He has 3 home runs (a 4th that was called a double) and is batting ~.333 in 5 or so games.

Adam Loewen
Loewen’s looking pretty good offensively, hitting just shy of .300 at the moment.
I wonder if the Jays will leave him to get a full season in AA or whether he might get the call to AAA this summer.
Loewen has been awesome
much improved contact skills, and he’s still showing good plate discipline and power. He’s passing the AA test with flying colors, though of course he has a ways to go.

Yeah, Loewen's becoming really interesting to follow
Did I remember correctly that the Jays had a two year agreement with Loewen. That is, that he would be given two years in the minors or something like that? Anyone recall the details of that?
2 year deal
This being the second year. That’s all I remember.

Quick Supra-Minor League Recap for June 6
Toronto reserve corps
Jays lost 4-3 to the Yankees
- Jeremy Reed actually plays a game, his first in 11 days: 0 for 3, 1 K, .167
- David Purcey sits another day, coating another layer of rust on his pitching arm, while his more senior colleagues get busy, overworked, possibly tired, and lost the game.
I understand keeping Reed on the bench, but I have to wonder why Purcey got the call-up. Just to give him a bigger paycheck and a nicer hotel room on the road as a reward for pitching well at AAA? I hope he is working out and getting tutorials in the bullpen between games.
right there with you
was writing it up when I saw your post!
