Trade: Jays acquire Jacobs
Not much to say here, other than the Jays acquired Mike Jacobs (29 years old) from the Mets for a player to be named. He is batting .260 in AAA right now with 15 homers. Looks like a guy to fill in for Wallace in Vegas right now as Dopirak is injured. Maybe the Jays are moving Overbay soon and just getting ready. I didn't think AA had time for these little trades. Anyone know who we gave up?

Won't it be a little weird
If with all these big guys on the roster that could get moved out, Bautista, Buck, Overbay, Downs, we’re moving around minor leaguers. I’m still hoping to see a big move for a big prospect, come on AA
All this buttoning and unbuttoning
Patience....
Trades can still be made via waiver in August…. no rush.
Yea
players that pass through waivers are those that teams don’t really want.
HEADING STRAIGHT FOR THEM, I PRESS DOWN MAH GUNS!
Or making too much money to claim
in case we pull a Rios on someone again.
They're not just hitting home runs. They're doing the little things, like hitting doubles.
I thought Overbay would be a waiver guy
but now with Wallace gone, hes more likely to be here till year’s end, at least I think (unless they want to put Lind there).
or they pull a Rios on us
