Minor League Injuries
Is there any way to check this? D’Arnaud had a dreadful year in the end and will finish it on the DL, Gose is on the DL (with what?), and Sierra just got back recently but also had a disastrous season. Anything else of note?
absolutely untrue about D'Arnaud
he’s 21, is an excellent defensive catcher, and he held his own at high A in a tough league for young hitters, a solid sign going forward. injury issues also slowed him down and he showed early in the season when he was healthy what he is capable of. He’ll start next season at AA and will have just turned 22 – he’s right on track.

for reference
when JP Arencibia was in his age 21 season, he was still in college, got drafted, and had 250 or so plate appearances in Low-A Auburn in which he OPSed .686. Context is important.

D’Arnaud had a dreadful year in the end
That’s a little harsh – if he qualified, he would be sitting about 23rd in the league for OPS with a .726. It’s not the majors – only 6 guys have an OPS at or above .800. It was far from a fantastic season but not dreadful either. For a 20 year old at A+ level, I wouldn’t be too concerned with this season.

Absolutely. And JPA wasn’t even catching in that game!!
Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
JPA
I don’t know too much about the PCL so I was unaware of it being a hitters league. I saw JPA catch a few games for the Jays and in those games the Jays gave up a lot of runs. So I thought maybe it has something to do with JPA catching ability. Seeing the responses from other people I guess it has nothing to do with him. I apologize if I’m giving him the wrong image, I wasn’t aware of the facts before I spoke.
