Jays and Frasor avoid arbitration
So much for not signing them to a deal after numbers are submitted. Frasor signs for 3.5M with an option of 3.75M for 2012.

I suppose potentially multi year yes…
Alright. He technically is still right…. and as we all know that is the best kind.

Twitter is the thing with all the tweets...
this is better for the Jays than an actual 2 yr deal
I wouldn’t say it’s only technically multi-year. It’s multi-year if they want it to be and not if they don’t

Wait a second if you decline an option...
Don’t you get the compensation pick?
You can decline the option and still offer arbitration
They're not just hitting home runs. They're doing the little things, like hitting doubles.
Yeah but do you have to?
Because I could swear when Olivo’s option was declined we got a comp pick?
He turned down arbitration first.

We declined Olivo´s option and offered arbitration which was declined by Olivo and gave us a pick…. Could happen with Frasor, too!
I like the move for the club option! And it looks like a tradeable contract,,,,

Good deal
I’m all for taking a firm line with signing deadlines, but it would have just been obstinate and silly to take Frasor to arbitration rather than split the difference on such a small gap with Frasor. And getting a club option is great, as strengthens the club’s should we want to trade him. Good job AA.
good deal
cheap, good reliever for two years if we want him. he should earn his contract pretty easily – he was worth over 4M last season, and only once since 2007 would he not have been worth 3.5M
Excellent to have Frasor back at $3.5 million - May get something good back by trade deadline time too
So meet me in the middle well, come on, let’s make up a dance and we’ll agree to call it the compromise.
Is there a buyout that comes attached with the option?
I'm thinking that when the Leafs win the Cup, I'll lose my drinking problem.

Seems like a nice deal.
Keeping Mrs. Mr. Frasor in Toronto is very good for the team’s WAG WAR factor I think. ^^
He wanted the blonde.
