Pujols 10 year deal looks great until in 4 years...
when his knees are shot and he is still owed 200 million dollars. Pujols is too fragile and would be bad investment for the Blue Jays. You may as well throw Fielder any money that you are going to pay Pujols because Fielder will make it deep into his contract. I don’t think we have a shot at either guy

3 HR Game, Worst WPA
Albert Pujols hit 3 home runs last night and had a +.211 WPA, which is the lowest in postseason history according to Baseball Reference.
The worst WPA ever for a player with a 3 HR effort belongs to Chicago Cub Dave Kingman at -.123 (suckage numbers). Kingman homered in the 1st, 4th, and 6th, but hit into a double play in the 2nd with runners in the corners and the Cubs down 6-7. His homers came at relatively leverage situations: Cubs down 7-1 in the 1st, 17-6 in the 4th, 21-18 in the 6th. He also flied out with runners on 1st and 2nd, 0 outs, when the Cubs were down 22-20 in the bottom of the 8th.

That’s the known record, but in 26 innings they must have thrown more than 207 pitches. It wasn’t tracked then though.
