Thinking about the White Sox...
With the Blue Jays searching for another starter and a closer this off-season it seems that the White Sox might be a fit for the Jays. They are rumoured to be open to moving John Danks or Gavin Floyd as well as Matt Thornton. I wouldn't mind (for the right price of course) the Jays making a move with the White Sox to acquire one of the starters and Thornton to close.
I just don't know enough about the White Sox needs right now to know if the Jays are a good trade partner, anyone have any insight to what the White Sox might be looking for in return?

I'm not sure if either of them straight-up nets us Thornton
he’s really good, and much more affordable than other elite relievers.

but he's not a "proven closer"
and in particular, didn’t do so well in the closer role this past year. set-up men (even really good ones) don’t make much money in free agency
in fact
Matt Thornton has a significant platoon split, so I wouldn’t make him closer, but rather use him wisely so as to maximize his PAs versus lefties.
but it's not like he's bad against RHB
FIP/xFIP under 3.50 for the past 4 seasons (except 2011, xFIP of 3.50)

Danks and Bautista on the same team?
that’d be interesting.
