So I am just getting back to civilization after spending the last week chaperoning on a camping retreat. The Jays look to be in a better position than when I left.
Was there any attempt to get anything for JoJo rather than DFA him?
Has there been any news or updates on Lawrie?
I have really got to get back into Blue Jay mode. Our record tells me that we have been playing some pretty good ball. I like seeing we took 2 of 3 from the Rangers and tonight's game against the Rays. Seeing Jose hit number 32 was a good first game back after a week long sabbatical from the civilized world.
If I missed anything else important or noteworthy I'd appreciate you all letting me know and getting me back up to date with all things Jays.

Was there any attempt to get anything for JoJo rather than DFA him?
JoJo was horrible enough for long enough (2 months) that there would not be anyone who would give anything up for him.
Lawrie seems to be healthy, is raking again at AAA, it should only be a matter of days (been saying that for a while though…)

They moved Lawrie back to second base and McGowan to closer just to appease the masses on Jays Talk.

Got Rasmus, Lawrie is ridicugood in AAA, they prolly tried trading JoJo for the past 3 months, winning is good.
Lawrie is not going to play 2B. McGowan is not going to close. Enough.
Edwin and solid pitching has been keeping the team above 500

are in a bit of a slump

Was in New York for a week and felt the same way.
Watch the Jays all year and things stay pretty steady then I leave and everything happens!
