We have so many people hurt our clubhouse is starting to resemble a scene out of the Shaun of the Dead.... just don't say the Z word. With the offseason coming up I am getting ready for a winter full of debate on what the Jays did, should have done and will do. Let's just remember when making arguments around the Jays, make more sense than this guy ok?

fun fact, Joe Mauer is the only person to ever win Gatorade High School Player of the Year in two sports. won it for football (QB) in his junior season then baseball in his senior season. had a football scholarship to Florida State but turned it down after getting drafted first overall to MLB. he was also an All-State point guard on the basketball team.
I don't think that's particularly uncommon
Dave Winfield was famously drafted by 3 different professional leagues (baseball, football, basketball). Billy Beane, as those who have read/seen Moneyball know, turned down a scholarship from Stanford to become the heir-apparent to John Elway.
If you are good enough to turn pro in a sport, you were almost certainly a good enough athlete to be a top high school player in several sports.
