Should they stay or should they go? McGowan's Side-burns edition

Nothing beats an up close and personal interview prior to the game, and tonight it was with Dustin McGowan... The only thing is, I was distracted by those hideous lambchops he sports on his face. Now, i'm not a hater of facial hair, don't get me wrong, but it is always nice to keep it trim and kept looking. McGowan's 'Chops are all part of his comeback so I support him regardless, but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

You can’t forget 2005-2006 pre-chops McGowan. He just wasn’ t the same pitcher without them, haha.

McGowan hates them chops too

Believe it or not, Dustin McGowan is the least biggest fan of his own look. When asked why he has them then on the FAN590 yesterday morning he said it had something to do with a lost bet with AJ Burnett and since things were going good performance wise after he grew them he had to keep them

I voted to get rid of them

If he’s keeping them for “luck”, he ought to look back at his three years of recovery time and take that into account. And while we’re at it, I think Cecil needs to lose that crap on his face and eliminate the Mohawk while he’s at it.

I like Bautista with the beard. Really, though, the rest of them need to shave.
