Not sure if this makes sense for the O's
Doubt they’d be willing to trade Schoop unless they get a young equivalent talent in return.

More than. Their farm system only has three plus prospects and badly need of restocking.

.
Baltimore has a blackhole at second base, mainly because Brian Roberts is constantly injured. It would be quite counter productive of them to trade off a good quality prospect at a premium position. I don’t see them moving him. Him and machado will be their double play combo for many years I believe.

Just wondering if
Baltimore could be tempted for a pitching prospect or two. If their need for pitching depth outweighs that blackhole at 2nd. Anyway, this idea is just for fun.
Don't see why they would want Uehara back
does pretty much nothing for them. And I’d think Schoop is ahead of Drabek at the moment.

Reading over CC, they loves their Koji and wish he was back.
Front Office? Maybe considering their push into Asia.

I doubt Baltimore would trade away Schoop.
He’s one of the three Baltimore Prospects that are worth anything (Machado and Bundy the younger the other two.)
If I were an Orioles fan or their GM for that matter, I would not even consider it unless the Jays were willing to part with Lawrie (which is ridiculous, but that’s the only way it would make sense to the O’s.)
The only way this works is if we have any minor leaguers of Greek ancestry that Angelos would prize above all common sense.

I disagree with this
Schoop is good, but he’s not that good so as to be nearly untouchable (as Machado and Bundy are). There are plenty of packages the Jays could offer well short of Lawrie equivalent that Baltimore should accept (should meaning in their best interest).
Also, Bundy the elder is a decent prosect in his own right
My point was that Baltimore would be looking for something to help restock their system
or more likely expect back something greater in return than what they’re giving up to make up for the short comings in their farm system.
Baltimore’s awful Player development system is such that their system has a lot of holes (OF, 1B, 3B, 2B/SS depth and pitching depth.) Signing guys like old Vlad and KG cost them draft picks didn’t help either.

I'm with MjwW on this
Baltimore only has three top end prospects, only one of whom is a pitcher, so wouldn’t they be at least tempted to move Schoop in return for two prospects, say McGuire and Sanchez. Now, this begins to look expensive for the Jays, but wouldn’t it be prudent to leverage the surplus of pitcher prospects for a needed position player.
So, the O’s get Uehara and two pitchers for one prospect. Jays, meanwhile, send Jimenez or Crouse to Texas, since Uehara is really a salary dump for them.
You're building this deal on a false premise
The O’s do not need Uehara. He would be a nice piece, but they aren’t going to give up anything important to get him.

To be clear
I don’t think Schoop is a great fit for the Jays, and certainly not at that kind of cost. That trade prosopal frankly doesn;t make a lot of sense at all. More importantly, reacquiring Uehara makes no sense for the Orioles as they rebuild. I was merely disagreeing with the implication that the Orioles should not part with him for less than a Lawrie-type return. There are plenty of lesser prospect packages the Orioles could be offered that would make sense of them less short of that return. Of course, prospect for prospect challenge trades rarely occur.
