Blue Jays TV schedule

Hi all, this is my first post, hope it works.

I am considering changing cable providers, and I want to make sure I have access to all Jays games this year. Are all games going to be Sportsnet One this year, or a combo of SN and SN1 like last year? I can't seem to find a broadcast sched.

Also, has anyone had success with MLB TV? I seem to remember hearing of it being problematic in Canada....(I am in Calgary)

Going to be safe assume that the games will be spread out

like last year, hardly doubt they will limit the games to SN1 only.

Last year if you had any rogers service you got to stream the game online through ROD. I just had internet and got the games, was pretty awesome, they stream in crazy high qualitly. I assume they will do it again.

Either way i guess just keep checking here http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/schedule/broadcast/index.jsp?c_id=tor
And they will update eventually, thats just for spring training at the moment.

I also used Rogers On Demand last season

and it was great to finally be able to watch the Jays in Canada online…

they only let customers who bought leafstv

stream leafstv game online… i hope they don’t do the same for SN1 games.

If you have any Rogers products

You can get Rogers on demand on your computer for the cost of overpriced cable, phone or internet free. If you watch it from a laptop, you can buy a DVI to HDMI converter and watch on your tv. Other than that, I’m fairly sure that some games will be broadcasted on Sportsnet Ontario.

right

thats how it was last year, as mentioned.

Im wondering if they will change it, based on what they did for the leafs this year.

Can you get ROD if you just have a phone plan with them?

If so, do you just have a username/password or something to get it? My roommate uses Rogers I’m wondering if I could get it through him.

This is the best news I've heard all year.. (we're 30 days in)

The amount of times I had to find choppy streams last year was 1 too many. Thanks so much!

I am the one who knocks.

on that note

asking for those illegal choppy streams is a bannable offense this year. Don’t do it. =)

Technically (and legally) you are not allowed to share username and passwords.

If its family

Technically, it all falls under one account name. My family has cable, internet, and a couple of phones, but unless i’m mistaken, only allowed us one log-in.

I have mlb.tv

I got it when I was in Israel and I didn’t realize it wouldn’t let me watch the games when I got back home.
That kinda stunk..

I live in Calgary

With my basic HD package, I get RSNW and RSN1, which played all162 games last year. The year before was a cluster with some games only being in RSNE or RSNO meaning I paid a little extra to watch non-HD games.

Oh, I have Shaw. If you want to order for opening day, you better call now, you will be on hold until April.

I have Shaw now

Thanks for the input. I think I’ll stand pat with my current package, but I might reconsider at the trading deadline.
