Another minor roster move.
The Blue Jays have claimed David Herndon off waivers from the Phillies.
Herndon pitched in 92 games out of the Phillies bullpen, over the 2010-2011 seasons, but only got into 5 games this year. He had a 3.32 ERA in 2011, with 1 save in 57 innings, 24 walks, and 39 strikeouts.
Tyson Brummett has been designated for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster. We'll all fondly remember his 5 days as a Blue Jay.
