MLBTR - Cubs sign Gerardo Conception
Apparently the Jays were one of the teams with some interest. Given our depth, I can understand why they weren't willing to shell out the $7-8M the Cubs did for an 18 year old.
Let the Soler watch intensify...

I like the Jays were probably heavily into him, hopefully they’ll make it their duty to get Soler now, but I doubt this will affect how they pursue him. They’ve got their number and they won’t exceed it.

I was hoping we'd pick him up but not for that much
probably $6 million would be my max. I really hope we get Soler now
