Thought we'd take a quick look at how our minor league teams did yesterday. I'm just listing players that had a good day or interest me. I've put up the season numbers for most, but it is early, numbers don't mean much yet.
Las Vegas 51's
Lost 10-5 to Fresno. They are 1-5 to start their season.
- Yohan Pino: started, took the loss, 3 innings, 10 hits, 8 earned, 2 k. Showing how much fun it is to pitch in Vegas. It must drive pitchers to drink.
- Clint Everts: 3 innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, 1 k. 6.23 ERA.
- Robert Coello: 1.2, 2 hits, 2 k. 0 ERA.
- Anthony Gose: 0 for 5, 2 k, caught stealing for the 3rd time this year. .143/.143/.343, no successful steals yet. That surprises me.
- Adeainy Hechavarria: 3 for 5, triple, 2 RBI, 2 k. .435/.458/.609, 1 SB. Nice to see him continue his hot hitting from spring training into the season.
- Travis Snider: 1 for 5, double, 2 RBI. .333/.368/.611. Missed a couple of days with a sore hand.
- Travis d'Arnaud: 2 for 4, double. .158/.273/.211, a slow start to the season.
- Moises Sierra: 0 for 4, .238/.360/.571.
- David Cooper: 0 for 3, walk. .348/.423/.391.
More after the jump.
