7/7 Minor League Summary

About half-way through I lost my work so I went through quickly on the blow outs.
Richmond 12, Syracuse 1
Syracuse had more errors then hits and Victor Zambrano struggled in his start giving up 5ER in 4 innings with 6 hits and 2 walks given up.

New Hampshire 6 Portland 4
Lyle Overbay provided most of the offense going 2 for 5 with a double and a grand slam. With 5 RBIs on the night he is the Jay of the game. Sergio Santos, Chip Cannon and David Smith each had two hits.

Dunedin 1, Tampa 10
Anthony Hatch is the Jay of the game as he had one of the DJays' 3 hits and drove in the only run, himself, via a home run.

Lansing  9, Fort Wayne 3
Travis Snider went 5 for 5 hitting for the cycle, scoring 3 times and driving in 3 easily being the Jay of the game. Kyle Ginley was also solid going 5.1 innings striking out 5 and only giving up one run. Josh Bell had two hits.

Auburn 10, Aberdeen 5
Shawn Scobee with 3 for 4 including a grand slam in the bottom of the 6th to seal the game and earn the title of Jay of the game. Jonathan P. Arencibia (or do you prefer JP?) had a home run in a 1-4 night, he is currently hitting .255. Victor Santana added 3 harmless singles, Manny Rodriguez added 2 singles to bump his average to .328 and Benjamin Zeskind added 2 doubles. Brett Cecil pitched well though more human like giving up 2 ER in 5 innings of work but striking out 5.

GCL Jays 4, GCL Indians 3
The Jays had only 4 hits on the night and used timely hitting combined with walks to take the victory in the top of the 9th. Balbino Fuenmayor was 0-3 but waked in the top of the 9th and would score on 18-year old's Yohermyn Chavez 3 run home run. Joel Carreno had 7ks in 5 IP with just 1 run allowed and the Jays of the game go to him and Chavez.
