In order to make room on the roster for DC lefty Scott Olsen's return to the rotation tomorrow, the Nationals, after weeks of speculation that either Craig Stammen or Ross Detwiler would be sent out, have opted to send Shairon Martis to the Syracuse Chiefs instead. ESPN.com's got an AP article, linked HERE and in the title above, which quotes DC Manager Manny Acta explaining: "'We do see him as a very valuable pitcher not only for now, but for many years to come,' Washington manager Manny Acta said.
