We're going to try some community projections for some of the new players here in Toronto. We'll take their PECOTA and ZiPS projections, as well as my own thoughts and post them here. Then we can have the community come out with their own projections through the comments. At the end of the year we can look back on this and hopefully smile at how smart we are. We'll start with Lyle Overbay.
Overbay was acquired via trade this offseason, and will take over the duties at first base. He should improve by moving from a pitcher's park in Milwaukee to a hitter's park in Toronto. Especially since the Rogers Centre has been very kind to left-handed hitters the past few seasons. Also take into consideration the fact that he is a very good defensive first basemen. You are going to love this guy!
