Freddy Garcia (7-1, 3.92 ERA) vs. Ted Lilly (4-4, 4.07 ERA). 7:07 PM ET start.
Much to my surprise, the White Sox picked up right where they left off at the end of 2005. The only difference, of course, is that the Tigers, not the Indians, are keeping pace with them every step of the way. Now, I expect that the Indians will resurface some point soon, but I have reservations about whether the White Sox or Tigers will significantly regress as the season wears on.
Tonight's Blue Jays lineup:

Tonight's White Sox lineup:

Colour me optimistic, but I think Lilly will fare rather well against the White Sox tonight. The bottom of their lineup is rather weak, while Thome, Podsednik, and Pierzynski, all of whom are lefties, may confront some trouble against him. On the other hand, Lilly's WHIP screams of an inevitable regression of his overall totals. The latter is likely a better indicator of how he'll pitch tonight, but my biased, irrational gut instinct believes he'll be okay.
