In yesterday's Toronto Star, Richard Griffin wrote an article pertaining to Towers' pitching woes this season. To conclude the article, he states, "Now he still must execute. The Jays aren't going anywhere in the AL East race without at least 10 wins from Towers." That's a rather ridiculous, unfounded assertion, of course, but Towers' performance must improve considerably if he hopes to retain his spot in the rotation for much longer.
