A quick note on tonight's Twins starter: Tonight marks the major league debut of Matt Garza, yet another highly-talented prospect in Minnesota's farm system. With Francisco Liriano on the DL and the Twins right in the thick of the race, Garza will be relied upon rather heavily. He has sprinted through the ranks this season, as he began the campaign pitching in A-ball. He strikes batters out, walks relatively few, and has a suberbly-low home run rate. If he's for real and if Liriano overcomes his injury, the Twins could easily have the best 1-2-3 punch in the game.
