Jays Can't Hit Wakefield, lose 4-1

The Whole Sad Story

The Jays lost 4-1 to the Boston Red Sox last night, despite a decent pitching performance by Tomo Okha. Okha surrendered only 4 hits in 6 1/3 innings, unfortunately, 3 of these were solo homers.

The Jays couldn't muster any offense off Tim Wakefield and his dome-sponsored knuckleball, getting only one run on a John McDonald RBI single.

Jays of the Day Tomo Okha, I suppose. If he can do a little better with the dingers, he will give the Jays plenty of good chances to win. That is, assuming they remember how to hit.
