And I Will Hang My Head Low: Injury Update
Gustavo Chacin had an MRI on his injured left shoulder this week.  The MRI revealed no structural damage, but Gustavo is still in pain and is not throwing at all.  Not very encouraging news.

Brandon League  threw 2 scoreless innings in his first rehab appearance on Tuesday.  If all goes well, League will spend a few weeks in the minors and could be back with the big club by late June.

Greg Zaun began his rehab from a broken thumb at extended spring training on Wednesday.  Zaun initially served as DH, but the plan was for him to move on to catching by this weekend.

Reed Johnson is hoping to be back with Toronto by the end of the month as well and has begun playing catch and hitting off a tee.  Everything seems to be progressing well and Johnson is well ahead of schedule.

Royce Clayton has been in pain after fouling a ball off his foot on Wednesday but x-rays revealed no fracture.  Clayton must be feeling better, as he is back in the lineup today.

Troy Glaus sat out again yesterday with a sore hamstring.  Glaus had returned to the lineup after missing 2 days, and is back in the lineup today, but the Jays will continue to monitor his condition.
