After yesterday's nail-biting victory (have to admit, I wasn't real confident with the one-run lead, which lead to a nervous exchange (nervous on my part) between myself and Torgen when the Jays let McDonald bat for himself in the 8th and left Stairs on the bench), the Jays face Dice-K. Dustin McGowan pitches for the Jays and hopes to continue to progress as a starting pitcher in the 2nd half of the season.

The Jays are using the same lineup as the previous day for the first time I can remember this season, but the Sox are without JD Drew, who left yesterdays game with an apparent hamstring injury. Old Friend the Dude will be playing right in his place, and there is no doubt that he will indeed abide.

I will be watching the game, that is, as soon as I get done grilling this Alaskan sockeye salmon I got from the grocery store. Man, does it look good. Let's go Jays!
