Minor League Summary for July 2nd

AAA
Syracuse Chiefs 11, Norfolk (Baltimore Orioles) 1
Victor Zambrano pitched 6.1 IP with 6 Ks with 8 hits given up but only 1 walk. Z lowered his ERA to 6.99.
Russ Adams is making a comeback and has been on a hot streak recently going 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and raising his batting average to an acceptable .271. Kevin Barker was 3-4, Lydon and Roberts were both 2-5.

New Hampshire 13, Portland Sea Dogs 3 (Boston Red Sox)
The F-Cats put up 21 hits beating another AL East affiliate to a pulp with our bats. Eric Fowler started and pitched 3.1 innings with 6 Ks but 5 BBs forced him out of the game. Every batter in the lineup had at least 2 hits so it's a bit hard to list everyone!
POG: Dustin Majewski made it on base all 5 times, went 3 for 3 with 2 walks and 2 doubles

Dunedin 7 Sarasota 5 (Cinncinati Reds)
Russ Savickas pitched 6 innings with 4 runs given up, 7 hits but with 5 Ks. Tressler pitched 2 IP, with 3 Ks and 1 ER, Harang also pitched an shutout inning with 1K.
Jacob Israel Butler, another Jay with Israel as a middle name (Alex Rios the other) went 2-4 with a HR, double and 2 RBI. Luke Hetherington and Jesus Gonzalez had 2 hits a piece.

Lansing 6, Great Lakes 7 (LA Dodgers)
#1 Jay prospect Travis Snider went 1-4 with  a double and a walk. He is currently hitting .306 and there should be a promotion around the all-star break. Kyle Ginley was okay giving up 3 ER in 5 innings with 6 Ks however Po-Hsuan Keng struggled in relief and received a blown save.
JOG: From Auckland, New Zealand the first New Zealander ever drafted, 22-year old Scott Campbell was 4 for 4 with a HR and a walk as a leadoff hitter.

Mahoning Valley 2(Cleveland Indians), Auburn 4
Brett Cecil the Jays sandwich pick 38th overall continues his dominance with 4.1 IP 4 Ks 4 H and 1 walk but 0 ER. On the season he has pitched 11.1 IP with 6 hits, 1 BB and 13 Ks. Look out for him on Jays prospect lists.
JP Arencibia, the Jays 2nd 1st rounder was 1-3 with a double. Baron Frost and Manuel Rodriguez each pitched in with 2 hits.

GCL Jays 5 vs GCL Yankees 9
Apparently the GCL Jays don't exist according to the Minor league Baseball Site as they don't have a team page and haven't been added though they have the Pulaski Jays.
Kevin Ahrens was 1-4 with a double, his batting average is .171, Balbino Fuenmayor was 1-1.
