Buffalo 3, Syracuse 2 (Game 1 - 7 innings)
Hard to find things of note in this game but Robinzon Diaz made his AAA debut going 0 for 3. This move was made on the heels of the release of Jason Phillips and calling up Thigpen. I believe this is great for both Thigpen and Diaz. Lind went 0 for 3 as well. Russ Adams had a solo home run to get the JotG.
Buffalo 2, Syracuse 6 (Game 2 - 7 innings)
Josh Banks allowed only 1 run in 6 IP but had no strikeouts and a walk. Good to see him not allow many runs the last two starts though. Sal Fasano seems to pound the ball in AAA as he went 2 for 4 with a home run to raise his average to .313. Lind and Adams each had a hit.
Connecticut 3, Syracuse 2
Ricky Romero had an okay outing giving up 3 runs in 7 IP with 5 hits, 2 walks and striking out 3. His AA numbers are very similar to the AA he showed last year but has higher K and BB rates but the K/BB are almost identical. Rob Cosby gets the JotG with 2 RBIs.
Dunedin/Clearwater is postponed!
Quad Cities 6, Lansing 1
Snider went 1 for 3 as the Lugnuts could muster only 4 hits.
Auburn 2, Hudson Valley 1
Manny Rodriguez went 3 for 3 with a solo home run which happened to be the winning run as well. He easily gets the JotG.
