This game will be no cakewalk and Kansas City's 50-63 record isn't so bad. In tonight's match up we face the guy we couldn't sign in Gil Meche who everyone bashed when he signed for a lot of money. He has proven an excellent signing so far and is the Royals staff ace. We also will get a look at possible future MVP Billy Butler who has been killing major league pitching thus far.
The Jays need to win this game and every time I say this...they tend to disappoint. We need another excellent start from Marcum and the bats to finally show up on the road. The Stairs experiment continues and he proved a lot by getting on base 3 times against the Yankees. We NEED these wins to get back into it. No excuses or I am going to start the "Fire Gibbons" stuff until the rest of the season.
Go Jays! Win by any means necessary!
