The Jays make a quick stopover in the Motor City to take on the Tigers for a one-game and between players slumping, steroid accusations, and a series loss to the Devil Rays, things are not going well for our heroes at the moment.

The Tigers are fighting for their playoff lives and are throwing Kenny Rogers, who had the distinction of being the most mentioned player when teams' blogs each named their 20 least favorite players for their teams of all time. By my count, the Chicken Gambler appeared on Tigers, A's, Twins, Mets, and Skankee blogs. In its own way, that's really quite impressive. I was surprised to see him on the A's blog, where, as far as memory serves, he only pitched one season and played relatively well, but I guess that's just the kind of guy he is.

Doc goes for our heroes. Let's go Jays!

Post title, of course, brought our way by Built to Spill, hailing from the great state of our very own (if only briefly) Chris Latham, who played for the Jays back in 2001. I guess I should've saved this one for when we played the Twins, since Killer, too, is a native Idahoan.
