Call Me Up On Sunday For a Drink: Game Thread, Jays at Reds

In a rematch of yesterday's game, the Jays take on the Reds this afternoon in a 1:05 pm start.  Portsiders David Purcey and Brett Cecil will pitch for the Jays and will look to follow up on the 1-2 punch that Jesse Litsch and Ricky Romero provided yesterday.

The Jays made some more cuts yesterday, including Reid Santos, Fabio Castro, David Cooper, Brandon Fahey, Wayne Lydon and Kyle Phillips, reassigning them to minor league camp.  Cooper moved fast last season to AA but it seemed apparent this spring that he has some work to do yet.  I'm guessing he starts in Dunedin.

More details will follow on the game, time permitting, as they become available.  I'm not sure how much of the game I'll get to see today, as I have a lot of work to do and we're also hoping to enjoy the warm weather by going for a hike later in the day.  But I should be around for at least part of the game.

Vernon Wells will start playing in games in another 10 days or so, Cito says.

Jays Lineup:

Joe Inglett, 2B
Buck Coats, CF
Adam Lind, LF
Lyle Overbay, 1B
Scott Rolen, 3B
Travis Snider, RF
Michael Barrett, C
J.P. Arencibia, DH
John McDonald, SS
