I'm Coming Home Via Chicago: GameThread for Toronto Blue Jays at Chicago White Sox, 25 April 2009, 7:05 PM EDT

After thrashing the White Sox last night, the Jays are 13-5 and still in first place. It was nice to pick up the first game in Chicago and if they manage a win tonight, the Jays will clinch another series win.

Brian Burres makes his first start for the Jays tonight, for better or worse. The White Sox send Mark Buehrle to the mound, so we're looking at what would probably be seen as the Jays #8 starter or so pitching against the White Sox number one, though the Jays are fortunate enough to miss John Danks, who's been almost unhittable (4.3 H/9 IP!) so far this year.

Hopefully the Jays get to Buehrle, and, if not, there's always tomorrow against Contreras!

[Note by hugo, 04/25/09 6:27 PM EDT ] As you can see, the Jays change the bottom third of the lineup that scored 14 runs yesterday. Raul Chavez gets the start behind the plate, Kevin Millar starts at first base, and Jose Bautista gets the start in left field.

Some injury news: Casey Janssen is set to begin a rehab assignment at Dunedin on Monday, an assignment that is tentatively expected to last about 4 starts. Jesse Litsch, originally expected to not throw at all for two weeks, started throwing about 3 days sooner than that and could also begin a rehab assignment soon.
