Hoyer is currently senior vice president of operations and assistant GM of the Boston Red Sox to current GM Theo Epstein. He joined the Red Sox organization in 2002, along with the new ownership. You can't argue the success Boston has had since Esptein and Hoyer have been in Boston. It would certainly be nice to have half of that winning formula here in Toronto...
