Launch of the New SBNation.com

New, comments

The new sbnation.com has launched today. The idea is to give us a place to go to get all our sports news. The great thing about all the blogs on SBNation is that you can get a very in depth look at your favorite teams, but to get news on all 30 teams you had to go to all 30 team sites. If you are interested in NFL as well there is another bunch of sites. If you like NHL there is another 32 sites.

The new sbnation.com will save you all that, the big stories will be there, all told from a fans perspective. If you only want the baseball stories you can go straight to sbnation.com/mlb. And story lines will direct you to the SBNation blogs that are covering the story.

Or as SB founder Tyler Bleszinski put it:

SBNation.com will seek to do on a national level what each SB Nation network blog already does for its team or sport: provide the most timely, engaging and highest quality fan perspective information and conversation on the web.

What does it mean for us at Bluebird Banter? Oh not that much, occasionally when there is a Jay story that catches sbnation.com's interest, they might ask our opinion, but things around here will continue as normal or what passes for normal. And it link back to us for any Blue Jays fans that might wander over there.

Anyway check it out and let us know what you think.
